January 24Â Â A Denali Experience with Pat Gephart of Weston Backcountry.
Join local Weston Rider Pat Gephart for a presentation on his recent splitboard expedition to Denali, where his crew and he were able to splitboard from the summit.  Event information can be found here.

January 30 Â An add on to the upcoming Outdoor Retailer Snow Show, The Bikes of Wrath
It captures the journey of five Australian friends, inspired by Steinbeck’s
classic American novel, The Grapes of Wrath. As the group sets out with a
limited budget, they explore the space and the people between Sallisaw,
Oklahoma and Bakersfield, California eighty years after the migration in the
book.
The recent recipient of the coveted People’s Choice Award at the Banff Film
Festival, this film touches hearts and invokes a spirit of adventure. General
admission $12.24 with an additional booking fee of $1.95 per ticket.

February 1  Don’t miss the Boulder premiere of Leadman: The Dave Mackey Story.
The powerful story of local ultra runner Dave Mackey, who, after a devastating
accident and the amputation of his left leg below the knee becomes the first
amputee to complete the Leadman competition. Event information found

February 7 Â Backcountry snow sports enthusiasts will not want to miss the 2018-19
BackcountryFilm Festival in Golden.
Funds raised at each screening stay in
the local community to support human-powered recreation and
conservation efforts, winter education and avalanche/safety programs and to
raise awareness of winter management issues. All proceeds from the Golden
screening of the Backcountry Film Festival will support the work of the
Colorado Mountain Club. Tickets are $12 – $15 and can be purchased here.

February 26 Â The premier outdoor recreation film event, the Banff Mountain Film
Festival will stop at the Boulder Theater.
Check out short film and
documentaries about mountain culture, sports, and environment. Banff is
much of Colorado outdoors culture as Warren Miller. Tickets are $25 and
can be purchased here. The Denver screening will take place March 1-3.
