We test a lot of energy bars here at Engearment but I have never had one that tasted so good that I ate all the samples in one day. That happened with the Crafted Energy Bar. I first came across them as one of the items included in the TrailFoody package. Of all the products in the package, the Crafted bar stood out. I needed more beta, more testing, more eating – to see what the deal was with the Crafted bars.

Crafted energy bar review

We received the samples and I got to work. Had one for brunch and did a kettlebell workout then trained five clients. Then had one on the way home to walk my dogs. I don’t think I have ever eaten a bar so fast. It tastes like dessert. To me at least. I don’t eat sweets (more of sardines and beer kind of guy) but I could eat these bars all day long. What is in these bars that make them taste so good? Surely this can’t be a healthy snack!?

Crafted energy bar review

The Crafted bars are handmade with real ingredients – like raw almonds, organic rolled oats, Medjool dates, dried tart cherries, dried cranberries and blueberries, cacao nibs and cinnamon. All these (and much more) ingredients make up a great bar that obviously tastes great, but is actually a great energy bar as well. It packs 210 calories, 12g of fat (yes, you need fat!!) 24g of carbs (with 5g of fiber) and 5g of protein.

The next bar I ate on a backcountry splitboard tour up to the top of one of my favorite mountains. The perfect place for the last bar to be eaten. These bars are designed for climbers, but the nutritional profile and taste can benefit anyone looking for a healthy, tasty energy bar. I will be buying several cases of these!
