Patagonia Alplight Down Pullover – Fantastic Lightweight Insulation

This February I joined two friends to ski up Glacier Gorge in Rocky Mountain National Park and sample some water ice at the head of the gorge. A sunny and fairly calm day with single digit temps, I was psyched to climb in an R1 fleece and windbreaker with just this featherweight down pullover to keep me warm during the belays. For each pitch I stuffed it in its pocket and clipped it to my harness.
