SOLShine paddleboard – stable

The SOLShine paddleboard has exceptional stability making it the ideal whitewater board. It had me feeling confident as I progressed through the sport. The 6” of front rocker and 3” of rear rocker makes it a great board for hard-charging through rapids or even ocean surfing. Its versatility is what impressed me the most.

I took it on both white and flat water and was excited to find that its 36” width kept me from wobbling my way downstream. Because of its supreme stability, it’s also a great board for yoga.

Channel your inner zen and master those paddleboard headstands with the SOLshine. However, if you’re looking to exclusively do yoga on the water, I would recommend the SOLshiva which is made specifically for that.

The 3 removable fins help it track well and responsive to different paddle strokes. There are a 4.6” flex center fin and two 4” side fins that easily pop in and out to make it easier to roll up for storage at the end of the day.

The system is really well designed so that you aren’t wrestling with the fins but I still feel confident that they weren’t going to loosen on you while in the water.

The sidewall-specific PVC adds flexibility furthering the ease of rolling up the board. This specialty material also adds to the durability of the board. The only moving part of the board, the valve, has a lifetime warranty.

The board also features a raised kick on the back to shift your weight onto to turn quickly and efficiently. I was really pleased with how this board performed and how comfortable it made me feel on the water.
