These are my new favorite street/out-on-the-town shoes, hands down. But…I gotta start with the one con (I’m a bad news first kind of person): They are really hard to break in. It took me a month or so to get them to the point where the leather has softened and stretched to my foot. However, once they have been broken in, they’re super comfy.

One of my favorite things about these boots is the durability. They are made of Better leather from LWG-Certified Tanneries with strong environmental practices. I can tell these boots are going to last a lifetime. Buying these boots isn’t just a purchase, it’s an investment.
These will take care of your feet by keeping them cushioned and dry. The leather incorporates closed loop water treatment which makes them perfect fall boots for morning dew and afternoon showers. I’ve spent several mornings walking through wet grass and these boots really lived up to their waterproof promise.
The heel pocket is really secure keeping your foot from popping out while walking. They also feature 2 zippers, one on the outside of your ankle and one on the inside which further guarantees foot security. They’re glue free, PFC free and solvent free giving them an all natural look and feel.

Growing up snowboarding and hiking in the bitter cold winters and humid summers of northern Vermont, Eliza learned how to beat up gear and quickly became infatuated with new technologies. After moving to Colorado in 2015 to pursue a degree in recreation and outdoor education at Western Colorado University, her passion for the outdoors grew exponentially.
