MSR Remote 3 Mountaineering Tent
This burly four season tent features Syclone poles for more rebound and strength. I used this tent in substantial snow storms (see pic for proof) and even some shoulder season camping. The double wall construction staved off condensation and the front vestibule is absolutely huge!

The Moki was an all-star tent for year round use. From major snowstorm camping to hot summer days, the Moki delivered. I really appreciated the simple set up. All the poles are on the outside, keeping the inside nice and dry. Doors on all 4 sides (yes all 4 sides) keep ventilation excellent for this single wall tent. MSRP $899

At 10ozs, this ultralight shelter packs quite a punch. Using a trekking pole (that you probably already have with you) the Gatewood provides 35 sq ft of protection. Plus, it is a full rain and snow protection (more coverage than a poncho). The Gatewood Cape is now in our backpack, year round. It packs up small into itself (stow pocket built in). At MSRP $135, it is a bargain.
