Patagonia Black Hole 100L Duffel – Extremely Useful Duffle Bag
The Patagonia Black Hole 100L Duffel bag is now 100% recycled. On top of already being one of the best duffle bags out there. The Engearment Team has been using and loving the Black Hole line of bags for years. Here is a quick breakdown of the 100L duffel.
Patagonia Black Hole 100L Duffel Review
The updated Black Hole lineup is now 100% recycled. When we met with Patagonia at the last OR show, they were very proud of this. Patagonia has been pushing to make as much of its clothes and gear from recycled sources as possible.
I have a 45L Black Hole from over 10 years ago and it is still going strong. It has seen a lot of use! Many of the Engearment Team have Blak Hole bags as well and they can attest to the durability and usefulness of the Patagonia bags.
The 100L is the largest in the line up. It swallowed up gear like a whale shark. I found it was easy to jam the bag full of a weekends worth of gear and still have room left over. Of course, there are smaller sizes in the line up as well. Heck, there is even some backpacks in the line up (see our review of the Black Hole 32L – https://engearment.com/gear-review/patagonia-black-hole-32l-pack/)
The 900D material is burly as heck and can withstand whatever you throw at it. The entire bag has a PU coating to keep water out. I have used the Black Hole in snow, rain and left it outside for days at a time. No problem on handling any of that!
Bottom line – the Patagonia Black Hole series has been trusted for many years, by a lot of people. There is a great reason for that. They work!
