What are these? At first glance, it is easy to assume these are just another slip-on shoe. When they came in, my wife and our colleagues had mixed opinions on them.  My wife was not a fan of the looks, several others (and myself) were a fan.  Either you love, or you don’t love, the way they look. However, you may open your mind after reading this review!

Made from sugarcane

The Kane Revive shoes are actually made from renewable recourses (sugarcane).  They call this BounceBack foam.  No, I did not try to eat the shoes (for some reason people like to ask these questions LOL). I did appreciate the eco-friendly approach to making these though.

The Revive is designed with Dr. Daniel Geller, who has a background in helping endurance athletes with fit and ankle injuries.  So, these shoes are made for use by very active people.  Not just for lounging around like some other slip-on shoes.

I could tell this was the case within the first few minutes of wearing these shoes.  The materials are very firm, supportive, yet comfortable. The 10mm heel raise was a nice feel and the arch support was very good as well.

How I used the Kane Revive shoes

I have had the Revive for over a month now.  I have used them as after-workout shoes, as well as during training session shoes.  I have used them while camping, lounging in a creek, on an inflatable kayak, and on a boat. They are at home on land or water.

What I love about the Revive shoes is they are supportive and comfortable while looking like a casual slip-on shoe.  I can take them from the gym to the lake and everywhere in between. They excel at water activities as well.

These are awesome slip-on shoes for active people.  They make great water shoes and come in lots of colors.  There are no half sizes and they are actually unisex in sizing.  We are looking forward to seeing more from Kane!
