Marmot Coastal Hoody
Review by Kate Agathon
When it comes to clothing, sometimes all I want is something familiar.
In a season that continues to be dominated by fashion-forward cropped box tops, Marmot’s Coastal Hoodie is a welcome option.

Features
- Recycled cotton and recycled polyester blended for soft, stretchy comfort
- Screen printed graphic
- Double-layer hood for extra comfort and warmth
- Kangaroo pocket
The hooded sweatshirt’s classic design is exactly what I am looking for- no elongated or shortened hems, no slender or boxy fit. With the Marmot Coastal Hoodie, I know exactly what to expect and that familiarity is comforting.
The striking Emerald Blue color is a beautiful deep teal- not too green and not too blue. I liked the retro logo- such a perfect throwback to the 1980s.

It has become commonplace for clothing to have variations in size- even within the same brand (last season, there was one brand where I wore everything from an XS to a size M- three different sizes!).
One of my frustrations is trying to figure out what size I wear. Thankfully, Marmot removes the guesswork.
I wear this hoody more than I ever expected- at home, at the gym, on errands. It is warm, comfortable, and predictable.
All about the comfort, the regular fit Marmot Coastal Hoodie is true to size.
The Marmot Coastal Hoodie is available in five sizes (XS to XL) and three colors (Grey Heather, Emerald Blue, and Dust).
