Balega and Feetures Running Socks, aka Goldisocks

These socks are GOOD! My two personal favorites are the Balega Hidden Dry and the Feetures ELITE. They are both on the thinner side of the bunch but my feet stay comfortable despite the minimal cushion. However, if your shoes are packed out and you want to walk on clouds, I’d recommend a thicker pair like the Balega Silver or choosing the “max cushion” option on a Feetures pair. My running shoes provide enough impact absorption so I balance that out with these two thinner socks which are guaranteed to keep your feet a bit cooler. In addition, both Balega and Feetures package their socks in only thin cardboard, no plastic!

These socks kept my feet drier than the desert I run in. These ultra-light socks may sacrifice a little cushion for breathability, but they truly are weightless. They feature Balega’s proprietary Drynamix ® moisture-wicking fibers, mesh side panels for easy breathing and Triple-Y heel design to keep the stock snug on your heel without bunching up in your shoe.

Balega Blister Resist No Show

This sock-style promotes ultimate comfort with natural mohair fibers which have a flat scale construction making them sheer and thus blister resistant. In addition, the material is soft, strong and stretchy. These socks make running easy for the bottom of my feet.

Balega “Silver” No Show

These socks give you more cushion than you could dream of! They absorb impact like no other. The pair sacrifices a little breathability for cushion but it’s worth it. The material holds an antimicrobial compound called Silver Chloride which absorbs sweat and removes bacteria, fungus, and germs. You will feel like you’re running on clouds!

These thin hikers/runners have found the balance between cushion and breathability. The left and right specific socks ensure there is protection in all the right areas, so with extra padding under your heel and ball of your foot and thin lightweight material on top, the Merino 10 socks are guaranteed to keep your feet cool and comfy. The Merino wool combined with TENCEL fibers gives the sock elasticity, durability and moisture-wicking capabilities. Available in 3 different heights; crew, mini crew, and no-show tab. These socks are also available in Ultra Light and Cushion.

Feetures ELITE

Feetures’ ELITE line is their most technically advanced socks. The Targeted Compression goes hand in hand with the left and right specific sock. This gives you padding where you need it most, keeping your feet from absorbing all the impact on their own. These socks also boast iWick fibers to keep your feet dry and cool while the Seamless Toe design kicks pesky seams to the curb. These socks are available in 3 different heights, mini crew, quarter and no show tab and in 3 different thicknesses, ultra-light, light cushion and max cushion.
