Kuhl Freeflex Joggr Review

In a world full of joggers, the Kuhl Freeflex Joggr stands out for its modern look and comfortable construction.

I consider the Kuhl Freeflex Joggr my “nice” joggers because of their clean lines and minimalist design.

These are true lifestyle joggers.

Elevated athleisure, these are the joggers you wear when you’re traveling and want the comfort of sweat pants without the unkempt look. They’re also the joggers you wear around town, or out to Sunday brunch. You can probably even get away with them in the office.

While I love cargo pockets and usually gravitate towards more utilitarian styles, the Kuhl Freeflex Joggr is especially appealing because they look a little more dressy than the rest.

Notable details include:

  • A comfortable high rise waist that features an internal drawstring to keep them in place.

  • Two side pockets (deep enough to place hands or hold a phone).

  • Zippered rear waist pocket to stash valuables securely.

  • Discreet minimalist Kuhl logo.

Let’s talk about the fabric.

Constructed from the softest softshell fabric I have ever worn in my life, the Kuhl Freeflex Joggrs are one step away from pajama comfort (Vuori, are you listening?). How are “nice” joggers so comfortable? HOW?

They are lightweight, breathable, and offer sun protection (super important in the high altitude environment where I live) up to UPF 50+. And, they are not flimsy or paper thin. The closest I can liken them to are Patagonia’s Terrebonne joggers, but with a little more style.

Despite the unparalleled soft fabric, the Kuhl Freeflex Joggrs maintain their shape well and fit nicely. I am 5’0” and wore the short (26.5”) inseam that hit neatly at the ankle.

They’re also true to fit. Depending on the brand, I fluctuate between a small and medium. The small fit fine and did not constrict.

The Kuhl Freeflex Joggr comes in four colors (Flint, Koal, Rainstorm, and Sage), five sizes (XS to XL) and two inseams (short and regular). Unlike some joggers, the Kuhl Freeflex Joggers will flatter women of all ages and sizes.

The final word? Definitely try these out if you want to add a bit of modern style and sophistication to your jogger collection. I seriously had no idea comfort and style could exist in one pant!
