The SAXX Kinetic HD Boxer Brief is my favorite boxer yet.  I have been of fan of SAXX for years, but the update to the Kinetic is now my go-to for active and daily use.

I have been using SAXX boxers for the last few years.  Of all the boxer briefs out there with “pouches” for support, the SAXX “Ballpark Pouch” seems to be the best fit.  In a nutshell, this is a pouch that supports your manhood to provide comfort, and less abrasion when performing athletic activities.

Some people might like this level of support and semi-compression for day to day use.  Being that I am a fitness professional and active all day long, this support is very much appreciated!  If you are looking for a boxer that has the Ballpark Pouch but not the semi-compression fit, I would recommend the Vibe series.  I have several pairs of those as well and use them for chill days.

Semi-Compression for active users

I really like the Kinetic HD for daily use when training others, or moderate to high-level activities.  Things such as hiking and backcountry skiing and splitboarding. There is another model of SAXX boxers that I use when I am hitting my personal training hard – on the peak days of strength and conditioning.  For those days, I opt for the SAXX Hyperdrive $50 as it is a full compression fit.  A detailed review of those coming up soon!

Sizing

I am 6’1″ 205lbs, 33″ waist and find that the medium is a perfect fit.  I opt for the longer version of these, but there is also a shorter version as well.

Comfortable stitching

I like how SAXX puts he stitches on the outside, leaving the smoother surface on the inside.  This reduces chafing and feels very nice. I don’t know why more companies don’t do this, it just makes sense!

Are you an active guy? Then the SAXX Kinetic HD will suit your needs well.  I have had no issues with wearing these for multiple days (backpacking, hut trips, etc.).  They are very comfortable and provide, what I think, is the perfect amount of compression and support. I highly recommend them!
