Outdoor Retailer is the nation’s largest outdoor recreation industry trade show.

From climbing sensation Alex Honnold to free riding legend Jeremy Jones, to mountain biking star Rebecca Rusch, Outdoor Retailer is the place where everyone who is anyone in the industry eventually makes an appearance.

While Outdoor Retailer is exclusive to industry and media, there are several outdoors lifestyle events held in conjunction with the trade show that the public is invited to attend.

Official selection of the 2019 Mountain Film Festival, Life of Pie highlights Fruita’s transformation from small rural town on the western slopes of Colorado, to mountain bike destination. Featured are Hot Tomato owners Anne Keller and Jen Zeurner, two lady shredders who found themselves as the faces of mountain biking in the latest Patagonia catalog, and whose presence has left an indelible imprint on the Fruita mountain biking scene.  (see Kate’s interview here!)

Return to Earth is the ninth feature from award-winning adventure filmmakers Anthill Films and will be screened at Denver’s historic Oriental Theater.

When we lose track of time, we make the most of it. Return to Earth is a feature mountain bike film about the simple act of living in those moments set by riders of all ages around the world. Sponsored by Shimano, Trek Bicycles, and the Colorowdies Mountain Bike Crew, proceeds go to Golden Giddyup trail projects.

The official close of Outdoor Retailer, 5Point Film’s second annual Night of Stoke will bring some of the outdoor industry’s most impactful adventure films along with a fitting line-up of industry experts and personalities, including filmmakers and film subjects to the Denver and Outdoor Retailer audiences at the historic Paramount Theatre.
