Surviveware Large First Aid Kit – The most comprehensive kit

We have tested many great first aid kits over the years.  Most of them are focused on light duty and meant for backpacking or backcountry skiing. The Survivware Large First Aid kit is easily the biggest and most comprehensive kit I have tested.

Just look at the size and design of the package.  600D materials and lots of molly loops, lash points and buckles.  This makes it ideal for adding to your bug out bag, vehicle, or home use.  I kept this kit in our 4Runner for the last few months and it came in handy.

In fact, within 5 minutes of unboxing the kit, I had to use it! LOL.  I was adjusting some bolts on a roof rack, and my hand slipped and took a good scraping.  The kind where it does not immediately bleed.  Fortunetly I had just opened the first aid kit and had it accessible.  Without ever examining the kit, I was able to use it and find some alcohol wipes and adhesive bandages.

I appreciate how well the kit is organized and labeled.  This is a true asset for keeping things in the right place and allowing the operator to not stress about finding items in an emergency. Plus, you can restock with your favorite first aid supplies.  I went through and added my favorite kind of waterproof adhesive bandages to the kit.

Everything you could need

Usually, I wind up adding stuff to first aid kits.  The first item to be added is a SAM splint. Survivware beat me to that and provides one in the kit! I took the kit camping with an EMT and asked him what he thought of the kit.  He inspected it for several minutes, nodding his head in approval.  He said the only thing he would add would be a tourniquet.

Turns out, they offer a FREE tourniquet in the kit!  I must have overlooked the envelope with the nice card in it (you can see it in the video review above).  They offer a great tourniquet, for free, with this kit.  So, it truly does cover most situations.  Very impressive!

I would highly recommend this first aid kit for keeping at home and in your vehicle.  As a bonus, Survivware is offering YOU a 10% discount.  Enter code ENGEARMENT10 at check out.
