There are still plenty of summer days left and if your looking to get some paddles in before things cool off I highly suggest checking out the Bote Highwater pack seafoam color.
This Belt Pack is perfect for your late summer boat ride, lake paddle, or river trip. In fact, it is really perfect for any activity that involves the potential of getting wet.

This 3.6L pack is perfect for stashing essential items that you want to keep dry. I have tested this pack all summer and have been impressed with its capacity, comfort, and ability to keep things dry in harsh conditions.

I really enjoy using it on my SUP, I put it on and can go hands free launching the boat. I often stash my water, phone, and medical kit inside the well-laid-out pockets. This pack is so versatile with its large pockets and waterproof performance.

Storage Capacity: This pack has two main storage pockets that combine to hold 3.6L of gear. The Nylon exterior is stiff enough to easily manage heavy loads or bulky items, but still keeps the pack light. (.08lb)
Comfortable Rear Padding: The pack’s back has a plush padded backrest that is very comfortable, even when worn all day in wet conditions. I have even worn the pack without a shirt on and have had no chaffing or rubbing issues.

Easy to use Zippers: These are dope! They are not your typical zipper but remind me of a super burly ziplock bag closer. There are no teeth, but instead, it has a very durable nylon track. When I first saw these, I was a bit skeptical but they seem to be durable and slide easy. Most importantly, they keep water out!

Lots of useful Accessories: This pack is loaded with small features that have big impacts. There are D Rings, molle loops, cam straps, and a bomber handle. These features are useful in a variety of applications. I have used the D ring to secure the pack to my SUP deck when paddling in rough water. The side molle loop is perfect for keys, a water bottle, or anything that you want clipped to the side. The options are endless.
Fully WaterProof: This thing is undoubtedly waterproof. I have had it on when floating in the river, buckled to the front of my SUP in heavy waves, and on my waist in heavy rain. In all of these scenarios, everything stayed dry. The pack is fully submersible at a rating of IP67. This means that it can be submerged at 3ft for up to 30 minutes. Being that this is not a dive pack, I think this rating is more than enough!

Andrew is a trail runner, climber, paddler, snowboarder, marketer, and most importantly a dog dad. Andrew grew up in suburban Philadelphia and now lives on Maryland’s Eastern Shore.

While he lives pretty far from the mountains, he puts a heavy focus on preparing for them and inspiring others to do the same. He first fell in love with the mountains on family trips to the White Mountains and the Adirondacks. He spent the majority of his early life competitively running and leisurely paddling, however after college he began focusing on learning to climb, snowboard, and backpack.

Over the past ten years since then, he has been fortunate enough to gain some amazing experiences exploring North America. Some of the most memorable thus far are alpine climbing in the Sierra, trail running in Alberta, learning to splitboard in NH, countless days hiking in the Catskills, or a plethora of mellow days paddling the Chesapeake Bay with friends.

When he can’t be in the mountains Andrew is often running or hiking with his favorite training partners, his two rescue dogs Calvin and Enzo. Andrew is also a self-proclaimed gear junkie and confessed that his gear loft is the most organized place in his home.
