Patagonia Quandary Joggers

The Patagonia Quandary Joggers are my wear-anywhere-wear-everywhere pants.

I love the way they fit and look!

On a recent trip to Grand Junction, to my surprise, I found myself wearing the Quandary Joggers every single day. Meanwhile, the back up pair of pants I had brought sat untouched in my duffle bag.

What makes the regular fit Quandary Joggers special?

First of all, they are surprisingly soft.

So comfortable in fact, I didn’t feel the need to change pants at all (when I’m at home or on a long car ride, I usually opt for unglamorous comfort pants and change into something “nicer” later on).

Also contributing to the comfort factor were the articulated calves and the knit waistband that was soft and did not chafe.

Secondly, they didn’t wrinkle as much as I’d feared. I wore them out to dinner, in my hotel room, light hiking and around town. Basically, I wore them every day of the vacation and they stayed presentable.

Despite the drawstring waist, cargo pockets, and elasticized pant cuffs, the Quandary Joggers did not look overly sporty.

The pants include two deep front pockets, two zippered thigh pockets, and one back-right pocket.

I liked that my lip balm and wallet didn’t have to compete with my hands for space- there were sufficient pockets for everything!

The joggers are a 28” inseam, which means they fit me (5’0”) perfectly. For someone who is forever getting my pants hemmed (even the short sizes), this was a welcome change.

Constructed from a light and breathable NetPlus® postconsumer recycled nylon and spandex blend, the Patagonia Quandary Joggers are ideal for the dry, desert climate of Colorado’s Western Slope.

I absolutely love the Patagonia Quandary Joggers for the style, fit, and comfort. They are now my clothing staple whenever I go on a trip.

Back home in the small mountain community where I live, they are my favorite neighborhood pants- dog walking in the hiking trail behind our house, or grabbing a coffee at Red Buffalo. I also kind of love that they are named after one of the Colorado 14ers in Summit County where I reside.

The Forge Grey color was neither too dark nor too light and went with everything I wore. However, it would be nice if they were available in black or a lighter shade of grey, just for variety.

My favorite pant of the season, the Patagonia Quandary Joggers are available in five colors (Forge Grey, Classic Tan, Gumtree Green, Caper Green, and Wing Grey) and six sizes (XS to XXL).
