The Royal Robbins Women’s Madera Long Sleeve Shirt is a comfortable and stylish option for basecamp or during cool shoulder season activities.

Made from 62% recycled polyester, the Royal Robbins Women’s Madera Long Sleeve Shirt is an easy to wear lightweight long sleeve shirt. The fabric is breathable and wicks moisture.  The shirt also washes, wears, and travels well.  The fabric doesn’t wrinkle, even after being shoved in a gym bag overnight.

The Royal Robbins Women’s Madera Long Sleeve Shirt fits true to size.  While the fit relaxed, it’s not overly baggy, and I didn’t need to size down like I sometimes do with cropped or relaxed shirts.

I’ve been wearing the Royal Robbins Women’s Madera Long Sleeve Shirt mostly to work as a nicer casual option during early fall. The shirt has a relaxed fit with a slight crop.  It’s more than just a basic long sleeve shirt, though. The boat neck and the box pleat at the back give the shirt some extra oomph.  The sleeves are also longer (mid-hand) and feature thumbholes. And thankfully, the bottom of the hemline, while cropped, doesn’t expose my belly if I raise my arm.  It’s just enough of a crop to feel current with today’s trends.

Throughout the past month, the Royal Robbins Women’s Madera Long Sleeve Shirt has worn really well.  My office has unpredictable climate control – along with Colorado’s cool mornings and warm afternoons.  I will often take a walk during my lunch break and the shirt is the perfect option for September and October days. The fabric is light enough so I don’t overheat, and should the temperatures get a bit warm, the shirt stays cool and breathable.

The fabric is also really nice to the touch.  It’s super soft and flows as you move.  I’ve been wearing it nearly weekly for the past month and it hasn’t shown any signs of wear.

Additionally, the Royal Robbins Women’s Madera Long Sleeve Shirt is easy to style up or style down, making it a great travel option. The shirt pairs well in more casual settings with leggings or shorts.  It can also go more upscale when you wear nicer jewelry.  It’s a great canvas for whatever you’re doing while you wear it.

The Royal Robbins Women’s Madera Long Sleeve Shirt is available in four colorways and in sizes ranging from XS to XL.

Somewhere along her triathlon journey, she picked up deep love of cycling. Cycling encouraged her to see landscapes in a new way, learn new skills and to develop self reliance; now she often goes and does Type 2 rides just to see if she can do it.  She’s got all the bikes: gravel, mountain, fat bike, time trial and road.
She is even known to combine her love of camping and cycling and go off on solo 24 hour overnight bikepacking trips in the mountains of Colorado. In addition to bikes, she teaches yoga, lifts weights, skis, SUPs and has recently purchased a campervan.

Erin is a former Montana park ranger with a degree in environmental engineering.  She loves getting into technical details while putting her gear (and herself) through the paces. She shares her home in Colorado with her husband, Will, and her 3 cats (Zipper, Brewtus, and Simcoe).
Fall and winter 2025 will bring Erin to the “Adventure Side”, with many camping, vanlife, bikepacking, and mountain bike rides. Once the snow flies, she can be find resort skiing, fat biking, and triathlon training (inside and outside).
2026 will bring a National Championship Cross Tri race, a National Championship Road Sprint and Olympic Distance race, and hopefully a chance to represent Team USA once again in 2027 in Edmonton, Canada. She’ll also save lots of room for adventure time with her friends and husband.
When not adventuring, she can be found on a sunny patio somewhere, drinking beers with her husband.
