I used the TSL Outdoors Connect Carbon 5 Poles for splitboarding here in Colorado. My college Aaron Rose and I spent time comparing them to the Black Diamond Carbon Compactor poles as well.  We felt that the TSL absorbed more shock than the BD carbon poles.

The adjustable component is a very helpful one.  I find that 125cm is ideal for me, but it is nice to be able to adjust them and let another person use them.  Aaron liked them a little shorter.  The comfortable grip is nice and long, at least 3 hands long.  This is nice when the angle gets steeper and allows you to choke up on the poles without needing to adjust anything.

The swivel baskets are something I had never seen before.  But I appreciated them on the tour. The poles come with several sets of baskets as well.  Making this an ideal 4- season setup.  That can be the deciding factor for many of you out there. One set for all your activities year-round!

I am impressed with the TSL Connect Carbon 5 poles.  They are light, adjustable, collapsible and perform well.
