Talia Sessel

Talia Sessel, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, is a Family Nurse Practitioner, lifelong athlete, and founder of Etanah Medicine & Wellness, a concierge medical practice focused on personalized health, wellness, and longevity.
Practicing in Florida, Colorado, and Michigan, Talia works with patients to optimize how they feel, perform, and age through an individualized approach to medicine. Her areas of focus include hormone optimization, peptide therapies, metabolic health and GLP-1 weight management, nutrition, recovery, and preventative wellness.

Long before becoming a nurse practitioner, movement and fitness were central to Talia’s life. With a background as an EMT, registered nurse, strength coach, and gym owner, she has spent years exploring the intersection between physical performance, medicine, recovery, and everyday health. She remains an avid runner, skier, hiker, strength-training enthusiast, and believer that staying active is one of the foundations of long-term health.

As part of Engearment, Talia brings a healthcare provider’s perspective to the evolving health and wellness gear space. She is particularly interested in testing products and emerging technologies designed to support recovery, sleep, performance, mobility, metabolic health, stress management, and longevity.
Based in South Florida, Talia is also developing relationships with local fitness, recovery, and wellness businesses to bring products out of the box and into real-world environments. From red light therapy and recovery technology to wearables, fitness equipment, hot and cold therapy, and other wellness innovations, her goal is to explore not only whether a product works well, but where it fits into an active, health-conscious lifestyle.
When she isn’t seeing patients or testing something new, Talia can usually be found outdoors, training, traveling, spending time with her son and two Samoyeds, or finding her next way to move.
Her philosophy is simple: health isn’t only about living longer. It’s about building the strength, energy, and resilience to live those years well.
