KUHL The One Hoody Review – Active Insulation with Great Looks

The KUHL The One Hoody is a stylish active insulation hoody (also available as a jacket) that has fuzzy fleece lining, good hand pockets and a low profile hood. With good looks and a nice fuzzy insulation, this is a good light jacket for mild weather.

I am a fan of KUHL clothing (see our reviews here) On any given day, I am wearing at least 2 times from KUHL – usually a t shirt and boxers.  Their pants are also some of my favorites.  The way they fit and function is ideal for my body type and uses.

As an active person with an athletic build, KUHL clothing seems to fit me just right.  Often, their clothing has articulation wear you need it and a little more room to accommodate larger leg and upper back muscles, without being large or boxy.

KUHL The One Hoody Review

The One Hoody is an active insulation jacket that uses their exposed fleece-like insulation to 1) regulate heat 2) feel good against the skin.  The outer material is a lightweight nylon that does a good job blocking the wind.  The hood is a casual style and works over a beanie or hat.

One thing KUHL nails, is looks AND function.  This hoody is at home in the city, at the office and in the mountains.  The only thing I would have liked to see is some of that wonderful high pile fleece in the hand pockets.

For the price, it is a good deal. There are several other hoodies in the active insulation category (I will have a good comparison video on them here soon) but several of them cost much more then the KUHL The One Hoody.
