There are a lot of insulated, stainless steel water bottles out there, but none, that I have seen yet, come with a tea strainer. The Eco Vessel Boulder water bottle does. Pretty cool feature if you’re into tea. The lid also opens in two places, one wider opening for filling and one narrow opening for drinking. If you enjoy brewing loose tea on the go and want to keep it warm – then this is an ideal set up for you.

The EcoVessel Boulder water bottles also sport “TriMax” insulation to keep beverages hot for 8 hours or cold for 36 hours. Trimax includes three layers (thus, the name) – a stainless layer inside wrapped with a copper layer, separated from the outer stainless layer by a vacuum.  We have not done any kind of scientific testing on this, so can not attest to the validity of this claim, but we have used the heck out of the bottle in real-world scenarios and see no reason to doubt its abilities. The bottle is made of stainless steel, so it is tough as heck – but does require hand washing (as all stainless steel vacuum bottles do) because of the vacuum inside.

The bottle is just the right size (700ml or about 24oz) so it fits on the side of my commuter backpack, in a truck cup holder and travels nicely. It has a nice finish to it and has seen many falls, but none have damaged it.  The Eco Vessel Boulder comes in three sizes – 17, 20, and 24 oz. – and multiple colors.
