YETI Lowlands Blanket – Impressive Blanket for Dog Lovers
Kate Agathon
The YETI Lowlands blanket is an all-purpose utility blanket that is the answer to every dog owner’s prayers.
Let’s talk about coverage.
Unfolded, the YETI Lowlands blanket is a massive 55” x 78” and covers a very large area: living room, a queen-sized bed, the backseat of a Subaru outback with the seats folded down, etc.

While there are a lot of waterproof dog blankets out there with a much smaller price tag, they do not have the quality that all YETI products deliver. For example, they were dog hair magnets or showed wear after several washings. Not so with the YETI Lowlands blanket.
From hiking to post-adventure naps at home, the YETI Lowlands blanket goes where your dog goes and can withstand multiple washings.
In addition to the rugged durability of the YETI Lowlands blanket that is useful on all terrain (dirt, snow, grass, etc.), what impressed me the most was its ability to shed dog hair.

I have an Australian Cattle Dog and that breed tends to shed like crazy. Until now, I have never seen a blanket repel hair like the YETI Lowlands blanket. My dog slept on it, rolled on it, and ate on it for a week and there was hardly any hair on it! After washing, it came out clean and virtually hair-free.
Finally, my senior dog is 15-going on 16-years-old. She has arthritis in her hind legs, and unfortunately, some incontinence too.
Spreading the blanket on the floor gives her a large area to walk with some traction underneath, and the padded and insulated soft top provides her with a soft place to lounge on, or sleep.
Also, if she has an accident in her sleep, or just can’t make it quickly enough to the door, the waterproof hydro barrier protects the floor or my duvet (I spread the blanket out on top of my bed so she can still sleep with me) underneath.
Additionally, the YETI Lowlands blanket is foldable, has loops for extra security, and comes with its own storage/and carrying case for easy transport.
When I first got the YETI Lowlands blanket, I envisioned it as a kind of super-duty blanket that would be used for camping, tailgating, or protecting the interior of the car with wet or muddy gear. What actually happened was that it became my dog’s all-purpose blanket and a lifesaver for this senior dog mom.
The durable and pet hair-shedding YETI Lowlands blanket is a must-have for dogs who love the indoors as much as the outdoors.
