YETI Yonder .6L Bottle with Tether Cap – Sophisticated

Earlier this month, YETI unveiled two new sizes (.6L and 1.5L) of their indestructible Yonder Water Bottle, along with an all-new Tether Cap.
YETI Yonder .6L Bottle with Tether Cap Review
As someone who prefers using water bottles over hydration bladders, the YETI Yonder is my favorite water bottle for its weight (50 percent lighter than YETI’s Rambler series) and portability.

I was particularly interested in trying the .6L because of its diminutive size- perfect for storing in my locker at work, or for short, late afternoon hikes on the neighborhood trails.
The .6L carries just enough water for me to stay hydrated on short hikes (2 or less miles) with the dogs, or when I’m out and about and need something that isn’t too bulky.
Constructed from BPF-Free 50 percent recycled plastic, the YETI Yonder .6L is incredibly light and boasts an office-appropriate professional design (i.e. it doesn’t scream casual outdoor recreation- designed gear).

YETI Yonder .6L’s subtle ergonomic design (it is flat on one side) is perfect for my small hands, and I love the handle on the Yonder Cap! Not only is the Yonder Cap’s handle great for portability, but when I need to do a refresh shake up of my Skratch hydration mix, I can turn it upside down by the handle and vigorously shake (no worries since the cap is 100 percent leak proof!).
The new Tether Cap operates like a Nalgene cap and keeps it attached to the bottle. It also adds another portability option in that it can be clipped to your pack or waist. Compatible with all Yonder bottles, the Tether Cap could be good for camping because it is one less item to keep track of.

To be honest, I prefer to use the Yonder cap by itself. The intuitive two part system makes it easy to clean, easy to refresh hydration mix powders, and easy to carry around.
Available in four color options (charcoal, navy, seafoam, and clear) the YETI Yonder .6L size is ideal for children or situations/short excursions where weight is a concern.
Overall, I am so far delighted with the .6L Yonder and would not be surprised if I purchased a second one (a repeat of what happened with the YETI Yonder 1L) because of using it so often.
It’s time to get rid of old, junky camping bottles and upgrade to the sophisticated and well constructed YETI Yonder .6L Water Bottle.
