Camelbak Palisade 32 100oz Hydration Pack- Organized and Comfortable

I did not realize how comfortable and organized a backpack could be until I started using this bag. The Camelbak PALISADE™ 32 100 OZ HYDRATION PACK is the pack I never knew I needed!

Camelbak Palisade 32 review
First off, I have never used a bag with the Air Support back panel and I don’t think I can ever go back now that I’ve experienced it. It kept me cool and dry on a hot hike and I didn’t feel like support or weight distribution was compromised at all. Back sweat is the worst and being able to avoid it by using a bag with the Air Support technology was such a win.

This pack is truly made for an all-day adventure. The 100oz hydration pack is big enough so you don’t necessarily have to pack extra water (although there is a side pocket for a bottle) and it is still large enough to fit everything you need for a day out. I was able to fit my lunch kit, jacket, hammock and all my little necessities with room to spare for a solo hike. Now that I’m a mom, this pack will be a great addition to family hikes too since it’s large enough to fit the essentials for 3 people. When the load gets heavy, I’ll use the cargo compression feature.

My second favorite thing about this pack after the Air Support back panel is that it offers enough interior and exterior pockets to allow for some serious organization. The dual wing belt has little zipper pockets for storage – perfect for creating an accessible place to keep my chapstick and phone. My favorite pocket is the overflow pocket on the outside. I keep my jacket there so it is easy to grab and then stash again.
The most challenging thing about bags like this that have all the straps, buckles and belts is to take the time to adjust and get a good fit – and adjust again if it isn’t working. When I started hiking the bottom of the bag was hitting my lower back awkwardly and I was really uncomfortable, but when I stopped and played around with the fit and made the necessary adjustments it became a breeze to carry. I’d recommend this bag to anyone looking to upgrade their pack!
