Scarpa Golden Gate ATR Shoe Review – Sock Like Booty and Awesome Material

The Scarpa Golden Gate ATR shoes are a really nice and light shoe for running and hiking. There is a stretchy sock like booty that secures around the foot, and keeps debris out of the shoe.

The rest of the shoe is a durable mesh that is abrasion resistant. I found this great for bushwhacking and warm weather hiking. I used them without socks on many days as well.

The traction is very good and the midsole is comfortable right out of the box.
