The new Costa Mainsail polarized sunglasses with polarized lenses are my new preference for casual wear. These glasses offer an amazing combination of both performance and style!

These Costa Mainsails with Tigershark frames have quickly become my go-to sunglasses for driving and hiking this summer. They look great and allow me to see things very clearly on bright blue-sky days with their standard polarized lenses.

Fit:
Mainsails are made to fit the “average” size of cranium.

While not a tailorable fit, these glasses are likely a very comfortable fit for many different faces. The nose pieces and temple tips are made of a softer-touch material that won’t leave you with hot spots on the bridge of your nose or behind your ears. These are very comfortable to wear for hours on end.
Lens:
-
These glasses come in optional glass or polycarbonate polarized lenses. The lenses are also made to be scratch and water-resistant. These block the wavelengths of light that just aren’t useful to your eyes. They are made to block harmful UV rays as well, protecting your eyes from damaging light. If you’re a boater, sailor, angler, paddle-boarder etc, these are the glasses you really want when you’re out on the water!
Frame:
-
There are several frame and lens color options available to meet your light filtering and style needs. The Tiger Shark is my particular choice.
In conclusion, Costa is on the leading edge of style and function with these Mainsail sunglasses. They fit very well and feel barely noticeable on my face. I choose these to be my daily drivers, especially on longer drives to reduce eye fatigue and be able to cut through the glare when driving into the sun.

They do come with a nice hard case and lens cleaning cloth. I highly recommend picking a pair of these up before heading out on your next road trip or adventure!
