The Patagonia Ahnya Pullover provides just enough shoulder season warmth when a long sleeved t-shirt is too little and a Patagonia Better Sweater layer is too heavy.

The refined sweatshirt features a quarter-zip stand up collar than can be zipped up to keep your neck warm from the elements, or down to show off a baselayer underneath.
While not overly deep, the pullover’s welted front pockets keep my hands warm and keys at hand.
Look
I was initially concerned the Patagonia Ahnya Pullover’s boxy appearance (at least on a hanger) and shorter length would look awkward on me or not provide enough coverage, but my concerns were unfounded.
When I first started wearing it at work, my co-workers complimented me on it an asked what other colors it was available in.
My suggestion? Wear it as you would any situation where you’d wear a sweatshirt, but want a more elevated look.

Warmth
I get cold easily. Even indoors.
Now that the weather is turning in the mountains, the soft Patagonia Ahnya Pullover is what I reach for when I need an extra layer at work or at home (it provides just enough warmth when I go to bed and don’t want to overheat).
For outside use, I also keep the Patagonia Ahnya Pullover on hand for not-quite-summer and not-quite-fall days when we take the dogs out for walks, or for patio time.
At work, the Patagonia Ahnya Pullover is displayed on the floorsets during the summer and fall months, demonstrating how perfect the weight is for summer days/evenings where there is some chill in the air, or early fall, when the mornings are cool, but the days are warm.
The pullover colors also change with the season. For fall, it is available in five colors: Pine Needle Green, Noble Gray, Natural, Smolder Blue, and Dulse Mauve.
At such a perfect weight, I would absolutely love to see the Ahnya get a full zip or maybe even some quilting or texture to make it even more versatile.

Overall Impression
Constructed from organic cotton, recycled polyester, and spandex melange fleece, the Patagonia Ahnya Pullover is a good choice for early shoulder season because it provides just enough warmth without the bulk.
