Hoka One One Hupana Em

The Hupana Em from Hoka One One is a lightweight shoe made for everyday use.  At home running on the road or walking during errands.

Hoka One One Hupana Em

Hoka makes ridiculously comfortable shoes featuring some major cushioning.  We have tested a few before (Challenger ATR ) and (Gaviota).  I received the Hupana Em just in time for the Outdoor Retailer Snow Show 2019 (read more about the show here).

Putting the Hoka One One Hupana to the test

These shoes were immediately put to the test as the Engearment crew walked several miles each day at the show.  There were moments of standing while filming interviews.  There were several hustles as we missed booth numbers. Bottom line, these shoes were put to the test and passed with flying colors.

Great for indoor or road use

The tread is minimal and great for indoor or road use.  I would not recommend these for trails though.  Hoka has SEVERAL other shoes to suite that need (personally, I love the Speedgoat 2 ) Though I did not perform any running in the Hupana, I did spend weeks in them training at my gym and using as an after splitboarding recovery shoe.

Comfort and Lightweight

The size 11.5 Hupana come in at 266 grams or 9.4 ounces.  That is really lightweight! Combined with the knitted material of the shoe, this creates an ideal training shoe.  The EM (engineered mesh) does a great job of keeping the feet secured without feeling like they are constrained.  The mesh also allows the shoes to breathe very well.  Grab a pair here MSRP $115
