Detailed Review
The Ergon Allroad Comp Women’s Saddle is a great saddle option for gravel, road, or groad cycling due to quality construction and design.
Installing the Ergon Allroad Comp Women’s Saddle on my gravel bike was easy. The saddle utilizes TiNox rails, which are light and strong. The Biomechanical Reference (BMR) line printed on the saddle made aligning the saddle for my needs simple.
My testing of the Ergon Allroad Comp Women’s Saddle was on several medium long (1-3 hour) groad rides on my local bike path system, with a good mix of pavement, smooth gravel and spicy gravel.
The saddle is engineered to accommodate women’s anatomy, and because of that, I found that I was able to decrease the forward tilt of the saddle (nose down) about 3 degrees than my factory saddle. This meant that I was able to hold my position on the saddle and avoid any forward sliding as I pedaled along.

The saddle cover is a smooth microfiber material that hit the sweet spot of helping to hold you into place but not feeling overly grabby or slippery. The orthopedic comfort foam was nicely supportive without making you feel like you were sinking into the saddle.
I appreciated the compact design of the Ergon Allroad Comp Women’s Saddle. The overall length is a bit shorter than my factory saddle and the nose is a bit narrower. As a triathlete, I do find that I tend to be a bit more forward than some cyclists, because I spend so much time riding in aero. While I don’t have aerobars on my gravel bike, I do generally hold a more aggressive position while riding that bike. The slightly shorter + narrower nose of the saddle felt great on my rides.

I also felt evenly supported across the expanse of the saddle as I rode during my testing. The Ergon Allroad Comp Women’s Saddle easily accommodated a variety of riding positions and terrain, making me feel comfortable, and providing a good platform for delivering power to my pedals.
Closing Thoughts
The Ergon Allroad Comp Women’s Saddle is a bike saddle that’s built for women and handles everything from smooth roads to chunky gravel, offering a strong but supportive platform for one of the most important contact points. The saddle is available in two sizes: S/M and M/L. This saddle developed by women, taking into account women’s physiological needs, and combining it with solid engineering and construction practices.
