Stio Rivet Cord Pants
Review by Erin Trail
The Stio Rivet Cord Pants are as comfortable as they are flattering.
I have a soft spot in my heart for corduroy pants – I just love them. The Stio version has more than met my expectations and are quickly becoming one of my favorite pairs of pants to grab and wear.

The Stio Rivet Cords are made from 98% Organic Cotton, 2% Spandex and feel like a medium weight fabric. These pants have been the perfect weight for Colorado’s fall temperatures and I think they’ll continue to be a good option for daily inside wear in the winter.
The Stio Rivet Cords are styled exactly how I like my jeans and corduroy pants. They’re straight leg (veering slightly skinny leg, depending on how muscley you are) with traditional features: a classic 5-pocket design, zippered front fly, and waistband belt loops.
The corduroy rib is very fine gauge, giving the Stio Rivet Cords an almost velvety vibe from far away.

I found the fit of the Stio Rivet Cords to be true to size, especially one prefers a more skinny leg. The pants have just the right amount of stretch to them, allowing the wearer to move and bend.
The Stio Rivet Cords also wash and wear wonderfully. I typically wash the cords in my washing machine and then dry them in the dryer. The corduroy ribs don’t compress and the pants as a whole stay wrinkle free. They even hold up to multiple wears without making it into the wash.
My favorite thing about the Stio Rivet Cords is the colorways. They’re available in four colorways, all earth toned. The hues, combined with the fine rib, give the cords a cozy vibe while the overall design makes them equally appropriate for casual gatherings and for nicer events.

The Pine Forest is my favorite color, a call back to my favorite green cords that I had in college. But I predict that I’ll end up with a few more because the colors and fit are just that good.
The Stio Rivet Cords are available for women in sizes ranging from 0 to 16. The Rivet Cord line is also available in a women’s wide leg version and in a men’s version.
