Born and raised in Memphis, TN, it wasn’t until college that I found the outdoor realm. What started as an introductory belay class quickly escalated to a van and a seasonal life living outside. Trail running and climbing opened my eyes to the backcountry realm, but I found my home when I started riverin’. A life on the water has taken over my life in the most incredible way, leading me to explore the country’s beautiful rivers.

Whether it’s in a kayak or a raft or just about everything in between, time spent on the water, whether it’s for an afternoon or weeks, is my happy place. I currently live in White Salmon, WA, but itchy feet often call me away. As someone who always forgets to check important things like conditions and weather, I rely heavily on the gear I have to get me through just about everything. Well, that and a love for a good ole sufferfest.
