Hydro Flask just launched the Insulated Tote series and sent over an 8L and 35L for my wife and me to test out. The Engearment team first saw these at the Outdoor Retailer Summer Market and were intrigued. They are simple in design and function. This I like! Fewer things to break and worry about.
Hydro Flask Insulated Totes come in three sizes
8L $45, 20L $65 and 35L $75. The 8L was the perfect size for lunch for one. The 20L would be great for a family. I really liked the 35L for carrying a bunch of extra food and drinks for a party. The straps are thick, like a seat belt, so I felt comfortable loading the bags up. Coupled with the robust build quality that Hydro Flask is known for and you have a long-lasting tote.
Waterproof materials
I left the 35L tote out in the rain all night. In the morning, everything was still dry inside. The waterproof zippers are great. Buttery smooth and coated to keep the elements out. The thick materials and lightweight insulation add up to 4 hours of keeping things cool. This would make an ideal tote for hitting up grocery stores and not having to worry about produce or even frozen items in the car.
Fairly priced, well built and useful. What more could you want? Oh ya, they look good too. The pictures don’t do them justice. Hopefully, the video does. I did spill something in the small tote. No problem, it cleaned up with soap and water with ease. Though in a 5-year warranty and you have a reliable, insulated tote!
