Kuhl Innovatr Knit Flannel Shirt

Best described as elevated casual, the Kuhl Innovatr Knit Flannel is the perfect shoulder season shirt for its softness and warmth.

The Kuhl Innovatr Knit Flannel is a welcome departure from typical flannel that looks more casual or rugged.

Thanks to its unique Italian knit weave, the soft Kuhl Innovatr Knit Flannel looks more elevated than its flannel counterparts, but feels like you’re wearing a t-shirt.

This spring, I have really enjoyed wearing it when going out- especially when I am down in the city and I want to dress things up just a little bit, but still feel warm.

The soft, unique knit also is great as a transition piece between seasons and provides a cozy warmth that you’d expect from fleece, not flannel.

Featuring a single chest pocket, the versatile shirt can be worn at the office, trade shows, the local brewery, and so much more. It doesn’t wrinkle like a traditional button up shirt and it looks nicer than just wearing a t-shirt or pull over.

Another plus about the Italian knit weave is that its slightly fitted silhouette (no boxy shapes here!) is flattering and that the material is stretchy so you don’t feel confined.

Because the Kuhl Innovatr Knit Flannel is not available in extended sizes (i.e. petite or tall), the sleeves are too long and I often found myself wearing it with the cuffs folded over.

The one caution is that the Kuhl Innovatr Knit Flannel does require a bit of TLC when it comes to care. Either hand wash or use the extra delicate setting with machine washing and that it must be laid flat to dry.

If you’re used to wearing mountain casual but want to dress it up a bit during shoulder season, the Kuhl Innovatr Knit Flannel is the way to go.

It is available in four neutral colors (Rustic Olive, Stone, Birch, and Oatmeal) and five sizes (XS to XL).
