Review: JBL Charge 3

We took the Charge 3 out of the box and synced it up to our iPhone. The process was simple. The two 500mm drivers produced an incredible amount of sound. We were VERY impressed! Most wireless outdoor speakers we have tested have left us wanting for a better sound. They often compromised sound to focus on being weather resistant. Somehow JBL made a waterproof speaker that actually sounds GOOD. The frequency response is quite impressive – 65Hz – 20kHz. The bass was what really got us. The Charge 3 had no problem handling bass lines from reggae and jungle tracks.

We took the speaker camping several times to test it out in the elements and altitude. We left it in the rain and blasted it for hours. No troubles at all. We even used it to charge a phone while the speaker playing. This is legit, go to speaker for anyone looking for a Bluetooth speaker that actually sounds good, can take a beating and handle use outside.
