Gordini Camber Glove – Leather Makes it Better

The Gordini Camber Glove was my all-time favorite for ski touring. For years I’ve always had to ditch any form of waterproof gloves on the skin track, my hands would simply get too hot. Not so with the Camber.

The camber glove by Gordini has proven to be an excellent inbound and out of bounds glove. It dumps heat well so my hands don’t overheat. While digging pits and performing stability tests within the snowpack the glove has yet to wet out on me. Thanks to the waterproof insert. 

So far I’ve seen very minimal wear in this glove and have even used it belaying while ice climbing. It is very durable and I could see getting multiple seasons out of it. Thanks to the goatskin leather. 

I’ve worn the camber in temps from -20 to 40 degrees and on the low end of the spectrum it isn’t the warmest but it did suffice as long as I kept moving. At an MSRP of $80, I believe this glove is worth every penny and then some. 

Review of Gordini Camber Glove

The Camber proved to be a worthy backcountry glove.  By using goat leather and knitting together, this created a durable and breathable glove.  Add in the synthetic insulation for colder days.  Bonus – there is an actual waterproof breathable membrane insert in the glove to keep water from seeping in. That all adds up to a legit ski and snowboard glove that we would recommend.
