Nathan Sports Runlite Pack – 10 Liters of Adventure Capacity

Crewing an ultra-race is hard, don’t make it any harder by letting your crew use tiny hydration packs to haul supplies. I recently used the Nathan Sports Runlite pack as a support pack for a 100k race, I used it as both a drop bag and a crew support pack.
My crew found it to be comfortable and easy to run with. This sharply designed 10L pack is perfect for hauling food, water, layers, and other gear. Nathan designed this pack as more of an errand-running commuter pack than a technical racer. It still has a full running strap system, 2 bottle pockets, and is hydration bladder compatible.

However, it also has 10 Liters of storage and looks like a mini technical version of a school bag. Here are a couple of other scenarios that I think would be perfect for exploring a new town or city, stashing some personal items while taking your kids to sports practice, and a whole host of commuting platforms. This could be bike commuting, walking, public transportation, or even running to work.

Key Features:
Storage – The pack has 10 liters of storage which is the perfect amount for quick adventures and commuting. The main storage pocket opens easily and features a small divider pocket for a bladder or other storage. There are two side pockets that easily hold both large and small water bottles.

Running Straps- The pack has both side and sternum straps that keep things from bouncing while on the move.
Back Panel – The back panel features a moisture-wicking fabric that helps keep things dry.
What would I change? It would be nice to have a little be more reflective on the back of the pack. However, there are two nice reflective strips on the front of the pack.

Andrew is a trail runner, climber, paddler, snowboarder, marketer, and most importantly a dog dad. Andrew grew up in suburban Philadelphia and now lives on Maryland’s Eastern Shore.
While he lives pretty far from the mountains, he puts a heavy focus on preparing for them and inspiring others to do the same. He first fell in love with the mountains on family trips to the White Mountains and the Adirondacks. He spent the majority of his early life competitively running and leisurely paddling, however after college he began focusing on learning to climb, snowboard, and backpack.
Over the past ten years since then, he has been fortunate enough to gain some amazing experiences exploring North America. Some of the most memorable thus far are alpine climbing in the Sierra, trail running in Alberta, learning to splitboard in NH, countless days hiking in the Catskills, or a plethora of mellow days paddling the Chesapeake Bay with friends.
When he can’t be in the mountains Andrew is often running or hiking with his favorite training partners, his two rescue dogs Calvin and Enzo. Andrew is also a self-proclaimed gear junkie and confessed that his gear loft is the most organized place in his home.
